Yesterday it was announced that the Livesmart BC incentive program had exhausted the $60 million dollars allotted and would no longer be providing rebates for those completing renovations on their homes designed to reduce environmental impacts.

Indeed it is sad to see such an incentive no longer be available to homeowners considering it encouraged renovations that both can help the environment and the economy when both need it most.

The federal tax credit for home renovations is still available until February 2010.
