Ethical Realtor Leadership Course in Vancouver

Vancouver Real Estate Board offers

Ethical Realtor Leadership Course

I had the chance to participate in the Ethical Realtor Leadership course last week.

Time well spent for this Vancouver Realtor!

As hard as we may try, none of us are perfect. The self reflection and self assessment helps you discover your ethical strengths and weaknesses.

Leaving this course you are sufficiently prepared to take advantage of your ethical strengths and improve your weaknesses.

If you don't think you have any ethical weaknesses than this course is most certainly for you! Along with a serving of humility.

In the end this course can help you be a better Realtor and netter person no matter where you are at now!

The course covers:

A general statement about the emotional toxicity of unethical behaviour that affects health, well-being and performance.

Introduction of the moral compass that describes how ethical behaviour goes back to ancient traditions and now needs to be understood in terms of the interconnections among us that more than ever require the development of right relationships. The violation of moral laws that bind us leads to breakdown and ultimately comes back to hurt ourselves.

Introduction of "The Ethical Competence Scale" book. Leads participants into thoughtful reflection and an openness to discuss "The Ethical REALTOR".

Introduction of "The Ethical REALTOR' booklet. In this section participants describe an ethical dilemma. The 3 Pillars Handout offers structure for discussion.

The course concludes with a personal statement from participants on why acting ethically is important in the real estate industry.
