I am attending the Vancouver Construction Meet Up tonight. This is group of people involved in the construction industry networking and sharing ideas. Most meetups have a brief presentation from a subject matter expert as well.

This led to me think about how one could usehttp://meetup.com to learn about buyinge or selling Real Estate along with investing.

Meetup makes it easy for anyone to organize a local group or find one of the thousands already meeting up face-to-face.

An organizer creates an event post its to the site and voila...it is on!

A quick search on Meetup.com turned up the following list of Meetup groups relating to Real Estate in Vancouver.
