I am inviting you to promote your business in a very unique event designed to promote Gastown living to potential home buyers along with existing Gastown residents by encouraging them to visit Gastown businesses over the weekend of January 23rd - 26th.
I am Vancouver Realtor who has a unique listing at 21-120 Powell in Pilkington House. I sat down with a friend one night and began to brainstorm what I could do to explode the amount of traffic through the property. We came to rest on a 72 hour Open House. I will be hosting an Open House from Friday at 10am until Monday at 10am, people can come at anytime they see fit. This concept would not be successful without a significant amount of promotion. When we explored how we could promote this event we decided on relying on the media as Real estate is such a hot topic in Vancouver and espicially so in this market. Within hours of the press release we had received responses from media outlets in Vancouver. It is strongly felt it is a story that will be picked up by most if not all Television, Radio and Print media in Vancouver prior to, during and after the weekend long Open House.
I don't have to tell you a huge part of the lifestyle in Gastown is the great dining, pubs, coffee shops and businesses. I feel I am not only selling a home but a lifestyle. I want to take advantage of this event to encourage people to explore the Gastown lifestyle.
Besides showcasing their products and/or services, sponsors of this event will receive the opportunity to have their business promoted in the marketing package each visitor will receive, included on the specific website built for this event, be included in on going press releases to the media through out the weekend, and potential media mentions.
